Missouri is giving companies that wish to run medical cannabis amenities extra time to file purposes.
The state’s Division of Well being and Senior Companies prolonged the deadline till 4:30 p.m. Monday. The deadline was scheduled to finish Saturday.
Director Randall Williams stated in a press release that the company discovered through the early days of accepting purposes that it was useful to have representatives out there to reply questions for candidates.
He stated the division is anticipating numerous purposes to be submitted in a brief period of time and desires to make sure all of the candidates get the assistance they want.
The division stated 236 purposes have been submitted.
The state plans to license 60 cultivation amenities, 192 dispensaries, 86 medical marijuana-infused manufacturing amenities and 10 testing labs.
